Hello Thomas,
My name is Elisabeth. Nicole is my nice. I´m starting to look for our roots some weeks ago. I don´t kwnow if your Dobra is near Didyliv/ Lviv where my grandfather ist born 1983. An other Canadian Klymkiw told me his ancestors are from Saranchuky, Lviv and Ternopil. Also there was a village named Klymkiw, but it were flooted by Polish.
Do you think there are same roots?

Hello!Good to hear from you.
Dobra and the towns you mentioned are about 120 kilometers apart. I do believe she moved west from what is now the Ukraine into what is now Poland. Remember back those areas were part of Galicia, which was a part of the Austria-Hungary empire. It would be good to communicate directly via email. I created a temporary email account. please email me at:

Replace (at) with @.
Hope to hear from you soon!
