Hi Tim, You and our son are fourth cousins. Your ancestry comes down from Andreas Kluck, whose son was August Kluck, whose son was Joseph Kluck, whose son is William John Kluck, whose daughter is your mother Karen Lee. Jeanette

My husbands line starts with a JULIUS KLUCK who came to the USA in 1869, Married a Dorothea Dassel in Crown Point, IN in 1871 and moved to Summit, Il in 1883. I never could find out where in Germany Julius came from. He traveled alone, and the NY arrival list listed him from NORTH GERMAN CONFEDERATION. Where did your KLUCK line come from? I would appreciate any info you might have. Thanks, Marilyn Rampage

Klucks from Prussia/Poland
Jeanette, you seem to have done some extensive research. My great grand father was a John or Johan Kluck who was born about 1827 and moved from Deutchkrone, West Prussia to Canada in about 1884. Deutchkrone is now the city of Walcz, Poland. His wifes name was Caroline? and she died shortly after the arrived in Canada. John Klucks brother was Albert Kluck, and he was married to Cecelia Mansky or Moscke?. Do any of your Klucks originate from that area of Prussia/Poland? If you know of any connection, please contact me at racer39@gte.net

I have downloaded a family tree from Family Tree Maker that I think had your name as the remitter. I am related to the Spartz/Batzler family from Granville, Milwaukee, WI. If you are the same person that posted the Family Tree with information about these two families I would like to correspond with you. Please let me know. My e-mail address is cljaaj@yahoo.com.

Hello Everybody: I too am a descendant of Andreas Kluczykowski (Andreas>August>Anna). Anna married Joseph L. Graczykowski. They had 10 children, my Grandpa Lawrence being one. Lawrence had Joseph, my father.
Anna's sister also married a Graczykowski (Stanley, 1st Cousin of Joseph L.). This family lived/lives in Wausau.
I have seen "print-outs" of Jeanette Misches work. Fabulous!
Three Kluck sisters lived in Manitowoc (where I grew up, but we spent a lot of time in Portage County). Anna, Helen, and Veronica. I only remember Veronica.
Hope to hear from you!
Scott (graczykowski) Graykowski

Re: Klucks from Prussia/Poland
Greetings
I not you are looking for Klucks from Poland. My Grandfather was born in Stibe in the 1860's and emigrated to Australia in the 1880's. One of his citizenship documents was signed by a local government official in Marienwerder (now Kwidzyn). I'm still to find the location of his birthplace but I would imagine it must be somewhere near Marienwerder. His ocupation was listed as farm labourer. I am away from my copy of the records I have, but will send more detail to you should you be interested. I have shipping records and death certificates that list some detail relating to Europe. Of note there were two Kluck's who settled in this area of south Queensland at that time and we are unrelated. I know of no others that came to Australia cheers Bob Kluck
