Re: Klucks from Prussia/Poland
My husband's family is from this line. Several years ago I questioned a lot of his uncles and they said that they always heard that Andreas (b.1797 and married to Anna M. Reichter) was the son of Leonard (b.1775 in Poland) and unknown wife. They also said he had a brother named Joseph (b.abt. 1790). This is all I have and it is pretty much 'hear-say'. I have no documents. However, there are other family members who have done extensive research, but I'm not aware if they are online or not.

Thank you for the reply. I know "someone" has info on Joseph, just a matter of time I guess.

Hi Marilyn. Your husband's line is related to my wife, and I'll try to show how. Julius Kluck & Dorothea Dassel had a child named Emma Kluck who married Gottfried Braasch. They had a child name Frieda Braasch who married Peter Hastengel. They had a child named Viola Hamstengel, who married James Heatherwick. They had a child named Darlene, who just happens to be my wife. Terry Blanz

Kuhn and Mill family from Zippnow
Hello, I found your posts about Zippnow and I am hoping you can help me out, too. My gggrandmother was born in Zippnow - Augusta Kühn B: 30 MAY 1863 in Zippnow, West Prussia D: 6 Feb 1932 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, USA
Her parents are listed as August Kuhn and Johanna Mill on her death record. I would guess they were protestant. Can you have your friend in England look these up?
Thanks Kristel Cronin
