I am also searching for a Klueber/Kluber family. I have been told this was my gr-gr-grandmother's maiden name, her first name was Natalia. She was from Germany - I believe the Baden area. I don't know when she came to America, but she married Anton Traut 7 Sep 1856. They had five children after which she died at 27 (12 Oct 1867).

I have tried to find information of her and her family, i.e., immigration dates, family names, etc. Can you help? I have found very little on the name. They lived in Ohio.

My e-mail is Wilbur@omnicast.net.

I would like to learn more about your Thomas Klueber; when did he come to America? Did he have siblings? Where did they live in America?

I have a gr-gr-grandmother by the name of Natalia Klueber and I have had no luck in finding her parents, siblings or where she came from. I know that she married Anton Traut in 1856 and they had five children. Natalia died at the age of 27 Anton sent the children to live with family and/or friends. The youngest was two years old and she wad adopted by a family names Stief.

The Traut family lived in Carey, Wyandot County, Ohio. The Stief family lived in Crawford Twp. The two boys, ages 4 and 6 were sent to live with the Moos family in Sandusky.

If anyone has any information on these families, I would be greatly
appreciative. You can contact me at rajw@omnicast.net

I don't find an immediate connection to your family. All I know is that they came to America sometime in the mid to late 1840s. There is a connection to a Moos family in Sandusky, Ohio.

If you wish to contact me at rajw@omnicast, please do so.
