Minnesota’s Mining Accidents, 1900-1920, and Mining Deaths, 1889-1990 by Stina B. Green, published by Park Genealogical Books (1995), spiral bound, 46 pages, from page 18

Klobucar, Jon, Died on 1919Oct22 at Spruce Mine, Eveleth; Austrian, age 38, married (Source 1919/20 St.Louis County Mine Inspector Report, page 33)

Klobucar/Klubucert/Klobucivert, Julius/John, died on 191Mar11 at Norman Mine, Virginia; Australian, age 45, married (Sources Mesaba Ore & Hibbing News dated 3/24/1911, page 1; Virginia Enterprise newspaper dated
3/17/19/1911, page 1)

Klobuchar/Klobushar, John, died on 1942Dec10 at North Chandler Mine, Ely; age 43/45 (Sources 1942 St.Louis County Mine Inspector Report, page 26)

In the state of Minnesota, the best source for these reports are the University of Minnesota library in Minneapolis, the Minnesota Historical Society Library in St.Paul and the Iron Range Resource Center in Chisholm. These reports may not only contain names and details for fatal accidents, but also cover strikes, details of mining operations at specific mines, location of the mines, pictures, production and operation details for specific mines.

Ely and Winton, MN, are in St.Louis County. The 1942 accident is probably the one you are looking for.

This is all the information that I have on these accidents.
