I'm looking for any info on Teofil Klick. He had at least two sons...Stanislaw, and Franciszek. They met him in New York when they emigrated in 1904 I think. Stanislaw was born in Krasnosiclec or Krasnoshiltz, Poland in 1892. He was 11 when he came to the US. He was married in 1914 in NY and sometime between then and 1917 moved to the coal regions in PA. I would greatly appreciate any info anyone has. Thanks!

Shirley, I'm not sure. My g-grandmother Erenistina Kukucka, met Stanislaw Klick when she was working in New York as a nanny. After they married they moved to Coaldale, PA. I got the name of the town in Poland that he came from off of my grandmothers naturalization papers. They had two daughters, Helen(my grandmother) and Julia. During the time my grandmother was growing up, the name got changed to Glick and for some reason, Stanislaw was going by the name Charles. We've haven't figured that one out yet. He worked in the coal mines. I'm almost certain his fathers name was Teophil, but have no clue what his mothers name was. The only other name I have is a Vladimir Klick was a witness at thier wedding, so I assume he was somehow related. Do you know if your Klicks spent any time living in NY? or did they come right to PA???

It's probably a coincedence, but I notcied the name Anna GUIDA in your message. My grandmother Helen Klick, married Andrew Keer(Thir). His parents were Anthony Thir and Anastasia GOIDA. Knowing how nationalities used to congregate and live in the same areas, we might be on the right track.
