Do you have any more information. Dates of birth, childrens names, date of entry, etc? I am seeking information on Theresa Kliber who married Leopold Hardtke on 3.1.1879. Could they be related?

Marian, Hi, I am intereseted in the surname Kleibel, but realize the name could easily be Kleiber. I am looking for info/relatives of Josef and Theresa Kliebel (r) Josef was born in 1834 in Germany and died in 1902 in New York City, Theresa was born in 1845, Germany, and died in 1900. They had 3 daughters, the only one I know of is Josephine, born in 1872 in NY City - probably Brooklyn. She was deaf and mute and went to St. Anne's for Deaf and Mutes in NY. She met and married Adam Singer, who was also deaf and mute. One of Josephine's sister's name might be Othelia. That was Josephine's middle name, and her sponsor for her confirmation was an Othelia Bessinger. Josephine is my ggrandmother. If any of this sounds familiar, please e-mail me. Thanks! Marge Virgulak
