Wedding Ceremony Read In Westminster Church
Marriage vows were exchanged Friday night at Westminster Presbyterian church when Maxene Kleimenhagen, daughter of Mrs. John W. Miller and John G. Kleimenhagen became the bride of Lloyd Kingsley Morris, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman T. Morris. Dr. Perry C. Hopper officiated.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a dress of white satin trimmed with ensenole lace and double tulle veil held in place about her head by a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of calla lillies.
Mrs. Woodrow Gowdy was matron of honor, Miss June Martinson was maid of honor and Miss Marguerite Noe and Mrs. Charles Fox were bridesmaids. They all wore frocks of blue satin and carried colonial bouquets.
Patricia Swindells was flower girl.
Donald Brewer acted as best man. Ushers were Alvin Petersen, Donald Anderson and Robert Hryszko.
A reception followed at the home of the bride’s mother. Pouring were Mrs. Charles Ferris, Mrs. Walter Oberschelp, Mrs. Barnett Goldstein and Mrs. E. L. McDougal. Mrs. Blanch Iltz cut the wedding cake and assisting were Mrs. Carl Staver and Misses Phyllis Packard, Jane McKensie, Betty Mac Higby and Rosetta Chappell.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris will be at home after November 12 at 3627 N. Borthwick.
