Hello Laura,
On your Wroten side, when about was your William
born. I have a Charles Wroten born 1849 married Mary. I do not know if Charles had a brother or not. I went to the mount olivet cemetary in Frederick,Md where my family was laid to rest and there were Bell also laid to rest there. Charles and William is a well used name in my family.

Uncle Will was born 1903 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was my great uncle (he married my grandfather's sister---Mother's side) but no blood relationship. He never had any children but did have 6 brothers and 5 sisters --his father died when Uncle Will was around 10 or 11. The whole family was from the Baltimore area and all are buried either at Holy Cross or Cedar Hill in Brooklyn. I think the blood line we share is the Klebe line which was my grandmother maiden name. (Mother's side) Your Wroten's and our family Wroten's could be related ---not sure and no way to find out because they have all past away. Sorry ----Laura

I just noticed the Bell name also in your message. The Bell's (Mother's side) are are from Baltimore, Maryland but did have Bell relatives that moved to Western Maryland (believe my great, great grandfather's brother) to do so farming. My grandfather Bell (Charles) married Ionia Klebe ---my mother's parents. William Wroten married Charles' sister Ethel Bell. Strange how these names seem to appear together in both our family histories , huh ?
You can email me at woliver@olg.com if you like and I will give you what I know about these families. Laura
