I have send my message a few years ago. I don't have any documents which could confirm my theory. I've heard the story about my ancestors from Sweden from my grandparents. In Poland there is a lot of people called Klebba, but only in north of the country. When I asked them about their past, all of them told me that their ancestors were from Scandinavia. Some of them told me about norvegian, some about swedish ancestors. This is only prove that I have which confirm the story which told me my grandfather.

Hi. Paula. My name is Joseph ( Joe ) Dougherty. My Great Grandfather's name was Anton Klebba who was born in Danzig, Germany in about 1858. If we could be related I'd love to chat.

Hi Paula,

My name is Diane, I have just read your posts about the Klebba name and connections to Poland and Sweden. Dorothea Klebba was my great-great-great grandmother. She lived in the northern part of Poland. Her son, John/Johann Czappa/Chapp, moved to America and settled in Detroit, Michigan. A couple months ago, I took a DNA test through Ancestry.com. I was surprised to learn that I am 18% Scandinavian, according to the test results. Perhaps you and I are related through the Klebba line. (Dorothea's sister also married a Czappa/Chapp brother.)
