Maxine,

Mary [KLEBBA] DYSON was married to Charles A DYSON, a son of Manless and Adeline [JOYCE] DYSON and a brother to my great grandfather Thomas Franklin "Frank" DYSON.

Found your comments of interest as I have never been able to learn anything about Charles and Mary [KLEBBA] DYSON beyond the statement that they lived in St. Louis.

I had presumed, but was unable to prove, that Mary was a sister of Theodore Frederick KLEBBA [b. 19 July 1879 in Osage Co MO, d. 29 February 1964 in Osage Co MO] of Osage Co. MO who married Julia PICKER, [b. 16 January 1885 in Gasconade Co MO, d. 26 March 1980 in Osage Co MO] 1 May 1906 also in Osage Co MO. Is this the same individual as the August Theodore KLEBBA you mention? If so, I do have some additional family information I am willing to share.

In either case, anything you might be able to add concerning Mary [KLEBBA] DYSON's parents or children would be of great interest.

Thanks for your time. Look forward to hearing from you.

I would be very interested in chatting with you, Maxine. I've been at a dead end for a couple of years with the Klebbas and just received an e-mail today that confirmed a lot for me. My great-grandmother was Thressia (Theresia, Theresa) Klebba/Baumgartner/Siegler/Carter. She apparently changed husbands more often than underwear, but I digress. She lied about so many things in addition to her being my grandmother's mother. She had a brother from the Belle, Missouri area that visited her on occasion that she refered to as Jules (Julius O. Klebba). From what I've found, she changed her name, my grandmother's name, and various parts of her life, and was arrested and sentenced for theft sometime in the 20's. I've found that she had another brother named Theodore. Please e-mail me at dustinshawnanderson@gmail.com.

Hello there, I am the grand-daughter of Mary Magdalen Klebba/O'Dowd. She had a brother named Edward J. Klebba. Not sure of the date of birth, but I have letters from him while he was in the service, dated June 17th 1944 in England. My father, Terence E. O'Dowd would have been his nephew. In a few of the letters he mentions the birth of a daughter named Lu. I hope this helps. I am also trying to connect with family. I never got the pleasure of knowing my father's side of the family.
