Hello, Marietta.
I just found your post from nearly ten years ago. I'm guessing that in this time you've found the information, but thought I'd send you a quick email anyway.
Grace Kitch Anglin was my great-great grandmother. She had seven or eight sons - the eldest son was my great-grandfather Dale Anglin. Dale's daughter is my grandma Marjorie (Anglin) Gast of Warsaw, Indiana. I believe that Grace died in about 1968 or 1969. My own daughter's middle name is Grace in her honor. Where are you located? I hope this tiny bit of information helps. My grandmother has a really great photo of Grace with her mom, dad, and siblings. Have a great day.

Hi Jerry or other interested people,

Hiram A. Kitch is my great grandfather, father of Alice Kitch, who is my grandmother; my mother is Carolyn Fleming (daughter of Alice Kitch who became Alice Fleming). My mother Carolyn Fleming then married Ernest Shult. My mother grew up in the house at 1014 N Jackson in Litchfield IL and I was there many times as a child.

I am actually trying to locate Ernest Kitch, my grandmother's brother. He has family records that actually belong to me, and if he's still alive, or his children can be located, I'd like to find and recover those records, or at least acquire copies.

About 20 years ago he came to visit me in Lawrence Kansas where I lived at the time ( now live in Janesville WI and am 49 years old), to see some records I had (which I inherited from my mother, which she received from her mother Alice). I had stored the documents that went all the way back to the 1860's (letters, etc) at my Dad's house in Manhattan KS. Ernest Kitch, with my permission, went to Manhattan to look at them. But, unfortunately, my father, without my permission, gave him the records to borrow and take with him (which I never intended).

Last I'd heard he lived in Fort Dodge Iowa but I find no current listing for him there.

Can you help me locate Ernest or his children?

Thank you!

Ben Shult (608) 208-5011.
