I am looking for information on Walter S. Kita Sr. He was born on August 19, 1901, in Poland. He came to the US after he married Mary D. Bugar. He died on December 19, 1967 in West Chester, Chester Co, Pennsylvania. I believe his father was named Walter also.

Walter Kita was my grandfather. He was born in Austria/Poland. He came to the United States when he was 10 months old. He met and married my grandmother, Mary Dorothy Bugar, here in the States.

He was my grandfather too! My father was Walter Stanley Kita, Jr. He was born March 21, 1928 in Coatesville, PA and died on April 15, 1991 in Ivoryton, CT. Unfortunately, I don't know much about Grandpa Kita, except that he worked at Lukens. But I do have his and Grandma 's (Mary Bugar) engagement photos hanging in my home. We moved to CT when I was young, but I remember visiting PA and staying at Grandma's house.

Hi,

My name is Kathleen Kita Barlow. Are you Christina/Christine? Walter Sr. was my grandfather too and Walter Jr. was my "Uncle Legs".

Yes! Hi Kathy. Sorry, it has taken me so long to reply. I think about you guys often. I drove down to Savannah a few weeks ago to get my daughter from school and saw the signs for Christiana. Brought back many memories of your parents house--I loved that place--Patrick, the Dalmatian, and all of you. I have not been back to PA in a long time; I always planned on making the trip with my two girls and never did--maybe someday. I'm still living in CT with my husband and two girls, both in college now. One at Reed College in Portland OR and the other at Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia. My mom died about 7 years ago. I have been terrible about keeping in touch with anyone. I did hear from Aunt Del about a year ago.

Hope all is well with you and yours.

Your cousin,

Chris
