Hi Paul

Just to let you know that I phoned my father and found out the following information for you.

William Henry Kisby was the name of my father's dad and the family firstly lived in Francis Street and then Queens Street in Newtownards. William Henry Kisby also had two brothers - one called David who lived in the USA (not sure which part) and John Kisby who lived all his life in Mill Street, Newntownards.

its a small world, John Kisby was my Grandad he died quite a while ago now aged 97. David his son (my father) now lives in Wolverhampton, as well as myself he has another son and 2 daughters. If my working out is right my father and yours must be cousins. my father also has a brother and sister living in the area with the rest of his family living far and wide, John had 13 children in total!!!

Hi Jeanette,

me again, just spoken to my dad and he seems to remember your father he thinks they used to call him ab and did he join the R.A.F? He also recalls that they always called William Toby for some reason and his father John was always called Jack.He also thinks that himself and Abraham are around the same age 76?
Hope to hear from you soon

Paul

Great to hear back from you. Well guess we are related then. I am really pleased to hear that and it is indeed a VERY SMALL world. I am at work at present but rang my family including my dad today. Just to let you know that we all live mainly in Hertfordshire in Hemel Hempstead. Which part of the world are you in? Would love to know -

My father says he will update you with some further information when I see him at the weekend via myself.

Take care Paul

We are all really chuffed that we are related

Hi Paul,

I live in newtownards. My great-grandfather was John Kisby, who was the brother of William H Kisby. I think my cousin, Colin Wilson, has reached out to you on this forum. Maybe we can
help each other fill in the blanks.

Regards,

Darren
