Barbara J. Kirkendall, 80, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 surrounded by her loving husband and five children.

Born on September 7, 1934 to the late Arnie and Dorothy Fielding, Barbara proudly served in the United States Air Force.
She was a member of Eastern Star Groveport, Ohio Chapter 440.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Norman; children, Barbara Sammons, Deborah (John) Vina, Kevin (Mary) Kirkendall, Rodney (Deanna) Kirkendall, and Nancy (Dennis) Lowe; grandchildren, Brian (Hollye), Donnie, Autumn (Eddie), Calen, Kyle (Shella), Drew, Kelli, Seth, Jonathan, Kayla, Madison, Nathan, and Madalynn; great-grandchildren, Brian Jr., Riley, and Carter; siblings, John Fielding, Arneda Buckmaster, and Tim Fielding; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and good friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her siblings Dorcas and Robert.
Friends may visit from 4-7 p
.m. on Wednesday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH 43110, where a funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. -
