Following on from my previous posting, there is a burial of Hannah KIRK at Thomas Becket, 8 April 1841. But her widower, Peter KIRK of Town End never remarried. Peter died in Workington in 1875 and he too was buried at Thomas Becket.

You ought to be able to trace this Peter's ancestors because they were smiths at Town End, Chapel-en-le-Frith for several generations.

It was a separate Peter KIRK (can't find evidence for a christening) who married Rebecca WATERS [WATERHOUSE] in 1846.
