My grandmother, Agnes Winifred Kiracofe [Loser] is also a daughter of James Uylesses and Sarah Lovina. I would be very interested in photos or any info that you might have. I may have info that you could use.

Aunt "Winnie" has always been a favorite of mine.... how is she doing? I heard about her physical problems recently. I have not seen her since grandmas funeral last August. It really struck me funny when I saw her getting out of the car because she looked so much like my grandma used to look. Anyway, my dad has also been in contact with Aunt Lois Gene alot since grandmas death. Whose son are you? I am Tom and Barbara's daughter. I do have some photos but not so many of Winifred. I have a few of all of the sisters together and one of Great grandma and grandpa with the first four children born. I think that those are on my family homepage at the familytreemaker site. email me at stephen-jenni@msn.com. I would like to hear from you.

It is very encouraging to see so many of our own family names in your message. Our family Kiracofe from Ohio settled in Kansas, Grandfather Samuel William, father: Louis (or Lewis) brother Samuel William. Any information very much appreciated, we are attempting family tree but due to evolving of family name (for spelling purposes we are sure) it is proving daunting to say the least. Re: Kirchoff, Ciracofe,Caracofe,
You may add 2 more variations to your list of spellings. Caracoff and Carickhoff.. the latter was found while searching the Virginia Library website for relatives. Both of these names came up with men who had served in the Civil War.

: Kirchoff, Caracofe, Ciracofe Ohio
I havn't been on this much lately but hopefully the future will permit more time. I can tell you this.. The surname changes are tricky, they don't just change for spelling purposes.. Caracofe changed to Caracoff over a fight about money....Go figure. If I stumble over anything relative (pardon the pun) to you I will post.

I, too, am descended from Barbara Catherine Kiracof and James Addison Wolfe thru their son, Robert Henry Wolfe. If anyone has any information regarding Robert Henry, James Addison, or any of their ancestors, I would greatly love to hear it!

You mentioned that you have photos of Anna Kerlin. I am curious to know if it's the same Anna Kerlin from Louisiana, born 1856 in Georgia and died March 26, 1916 in Louisiana. Her father was Samuel Kerlin born in 1825.
If you believe there is a connection I would love to hear from you.
