Kinzer's

"Sis" - is Lucinda born Jan 1860

Benjamin and Edward both died in the Oregon State Mental Hospital in Salem. Based on the information in Eliza Kinzer (sister) both Benjamin and Edward were injured in an horse and wagon accident. They are buried in Franklin Butte Cemetery - used to be called Scio Masonic Cemetery along their mother and father and several others. William the infant is buried there too.

Eliza was my great great grandmother. She passed away when my father was 9 years old. His sister was 16. They had fond memories of Grandma Ann.

Eliza Kinzer married John Wright Cary in 1871. They had two children Joseph Arthur (16 Dec 1876 - 3 Feb 1912 died of TB) and Anna Maud (3 Mar 1884 - 8 Jul 1950), and were divorced in 1897 - records are in Oregon Archives. Eliza married 2nd - Charles Green (from Sweden) - I am not sure of the exact date but they married in by 1900. He died in 1912. Eliza Kinzer Cary Green lived with her daughter after Charles passed away. Eliza and Maud had a boarding house. Eliza owned a general store in The Dalles, Oregon.

My father and his brother were picking strawberries for Maud when she passed away. They found her in her kitchen.
