Eliza Ann Kinzer, daughter of Lewis Kinzer and Luiza Wolf was my great great grandmother. Eliza Kinzer was married to John Wright Cary. They had two children Joseph who died of TB in 1912 and Anna Maud who died in 1950. Anna Maud "Muzz" was married to Arthur Lee Wright. Grandpa Art died in 1932. His son Lee Cary Wright was my grandfather.

Eliza, Muzz, Art, and my grandparents are all buried next to each other in the Milwaukie Pioneer Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. My father passed away March 2009.

My grandmothers kept a scrapbook with clippings, pictures, letters etc that has been passed down.

I have been to Scio to the Franklin Butte Cemetery several times. Both Lewis and Luiza are buried there. Benjamin and Edward and several other Kinzers are there. Roy Kinzer takes care of the graves and puts flowers on them regularly. Lewis and Luiza had 12 children.

Armilda Kinzer was married twice, to John Sullivan and Thomas Benton Houston. They had several sons. Mark died in a fire a Halfway, Oregon 4 Oct 1920. I have the original newspaper clipping. Mary Ellen was married to TW Stewart and then James Brown Houston - Thomas and James were brothers. All of them are buried in Cottonwood Cemetery near Adams Idaho.
