There were apparently 5 original Gingerich's who immigrated to Pennsylvania in the early 1730's. Check website

Does your line go to Samuel Kingery and Eva Spong? I would be interested in any information as this is my line. I would appreciate hearing from you. Thank you.

My Daniel Kingery was married to Susanna Hoover.
Both are buried in Polo Illinois. Have seen
Samuel and Eva Spong. Believe this went through
Cumberland County Illinois as there are alot of
Kingerys there. Mine went to Wabash County Illinois
with the Hamakers then to Northern Illinois.

my 7th great grandpa was Johannes Henrich Gingerich and to date has the oldest Kingery Will in the US. located in Lancaster, PA born 1690-1766.His oldest son was Abraham and he died in 1756. there were 7 children named in the will. It was said John Henry won his wife in some sort of contest involving a bet. Was a very well to do "Gentleman" whom was able to pay his way to america.
John Henry's father was Michael Gingrich, b. 1654. Michael's mother was Barbara Ruby. From what I have been able to gather it gets very scrambled and mixed before the 1654 Michael Gingrich. I have found 15 variations of the name Kingery
Colby G. Kingery
