Searching for any information on Sardius King birth: 9 May 1811 - Newport, Newport Co., RI; Burial: 1895 - East China Twp., St. Clair Co., MI. His parents removed to New York on the Hudson River during his boyhood, and lived in that State until 1852, and then came to St Clair County, MI.

In 1832 he married Nancy Webster (b. 1818) and had the following children: Charles Henry King (d. 1911), Martha S. King (b. 1845, m. John or James Collins), Eleanora King (b. 1851, m. Alvin Marks), Samuel King (1852- ), Parker King (1854-1881), and Jessie I. King (b. 1859, d. 1927, m. Franklin D. Fairfield).
