Thank you for your reply and especially the obituary. I did not have that and it has been very helpful.

I live in central florida and wondered how you go about getting the old archival obituaries from the Tampa Tribune...

Do you know how your Kinard's might tie into the Kinards I have listed before? I read some of your old postings and found a Clinch county GA reference, maybe it some how ties there.....I would love to compare notes, feel free to email me at chasmar@cfl.rr.com and we can see if we can help each other.

Thanks for your time!

Marisa,

I assume you know that know that Charles Warren Kinard was married to Nancy Simpson. Nancy had a brother by the name of Jeremiah Simpson. In 1867 he and his family, along with his brothers and sisters and their families (about 25 in all) moved from Clinch County to Hillsborough County, Florida. They settled in Antioch. One of Jeremiah's sister was Mary Simpson, she was married to Joseph Cohen, one of my ancestors. Joseph died in 1863 and is buried in Georgia. However, Joseph was married previously to a woman by the name of Williams. I am descended through that line. I have made contact with another cousin and she is descended through the line of Mary Simpson Cohen and Joseph Cohen.

Marisa,

You will see that I have a lot of postings. I work on both my husbands and my line. I have actually just started my line and I am glad that my information was helpful.
I have access to the Florida Archives and they have microfilm copies of the Tampa Tribune. I have been researching my line and anytime I come across a colleteral line, I gather information, just in case someone might need it.

I am posting these here so that if someone else is interested they will be able to see them.
