The Georgia archives checked in Draw 91, Roll 62 microfilm and did find the E.H. Hayes article, which was entitled Genealogical Information from Some Georgia Counties." It has a reference to the Thomas Kimsey bible record, but it says that the original bible was "in the basement of the Decatur-Seminole Regional Library in Bainbridge, Georgia. That library is now the Southwest Georgia Regional Library. I have sent a query there but haven't heard back yet. If anyone is anywhere near them, and can check, that would be great. At some point, I will try to find a volunteer on one of the Georgia geneology websites if I don't hear back from the library (i.e. if there is no longer a basement!). I am really interested to see if the statement re Thomas being the fourth son of Margaret Gregg and Benjamin Kimsey is in the bible...
