Surnames: komro
my great grandmother is Mary Komro (born: 23 Jan 1890 in Lima, Pepin County;Wisconsin and died 24 October 1918 in St.Paul, Ramsey County; Minnesota, and she was buried in Pepin County; Wisconsin. Her first husband was Chauncy W. Bell and married him on 27 May 1912 in Hudson, St.Croix County; Wisconsin. Chauncy died on 16 October 1912 in St.Paul, Ramsey County; Minnesota. They had one daughter: Dorothy Vera Bell. Her second marriage was to my great grandfather, Harry Coleman on 30 June 1914 in St.Paul, Ramsey Co; Minnesota. They had 2 boys, Robert L and Harry F. )the daughter to Godfried Komro (born: 8 Nov 1863 in Austria and died 5 November 1938 in Colburn, Chippewa Co; WI. and buried in Cadott, WI. and he married Genevieve Danzinger on 11 Jan 1887 in Durand, Pepin Co; WI. ). Godfried was the son to Joseph Komro (born: 15 May 1812 in Austria and died 20 July 1911 in Lima, Pepin Co; Wisconsin. He married Johanna on the 30th of Jan 1849 in Austria) and Johana Shabel who was born on the 16th of May 1825 in Austria. Her father's name was August Shreve. Johanna died on 6 Mar 1910 in Durand, Pepin County; Wisconsin. Both are buried at the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Durand on Lot #21, there is no known marker for them. I'm still searching for more information on the Komro family line, any thing you have to share would be great!

My mother-in-law is a Komro and we are having a Komro reunion in July 2005 - I will see what the info is and pass it on if you are interested. Not sure if I stated before but we visit the cemetery in Lima for both the Komro's and the Schlosser's. Hope to get back to you soon - obviously you are related to my husband.
