I f you find any connections to:
Kimbark, George W. 156 REG NY VOLS 6-10-1906 aged 71 yr.
Kimbark, Edwin died 1905 150th. REG (156?)
Kimbark, John CO. L. 3rd. NY ARTY 5-4-1836 to 5-9-1898
Kimbark, John M. 3-2-1869 aged 63yr 4 months 10 days

From the 1870 census, we find:
Kimbark, John 34, Abbie 21, Oscar 1 All are living in the area near the Cherrytown Cemetery.
From the 1880 census, we see:
Kimbark, John T. farmer 44, wife Abigail 31, Oscar B. 11, Eliza J. 9, Danile J. 6, Julia K. 3, and Silas 8 months.

Also in the 1870 census is:
Kimbark, George 35, Catherine 35, Alice 12, Emma 10, George 6, Philena 2
In the 1880 census:
Kimbark, George widowed laborer.

Rachel Kimbark, Carrie's apparent mother must have been the second wife of George. If you have access the 1900 census, check the make-up of the George W. Kimbark family. Also note that he died just about the time Florence was a child and Rachel started living with Marcus and Carrie.

Other Kimbarks buried in the Town of Rochester are interned in the Pine Bush Cemetery which lies adjacent to US route 209. The are:
Kimbark, Leander E. 6-11-1883 to 3-10-1912; Kimbark, Oscar B. 1868 - 1912; Kimbark, Eugenia O. Halwick wife of Oscar 1868-1916; Kimbark, Hazel M. 1904- ; Kimbark, John T. 1892-1970; and Silas Kimbark 1877-1946. Silas is probably the son of John t. above. Note that Eugenia's maiden name is the same as the married name of Sarah Jane Quick's daughter Ella's married name.

The final Kimbarks listed are buried in the Pataukunk Cemetery which is also not far from where the Kimbarks lived. They are Kimbark, George 1861 - 1953 and Kimbark, Lucy Smith 1869-1941.

I hope this helps somewhat. I also checked a book entitled Old Gravestones of Ulster County which was compiled around 1930 and it only listed two Kimbark's. They were both buried in cemeteries over the Shawangunk mountain chain toward the Hudson River. For completeness, they are Kimbark, Henry H. son of Adam and Sally Oct 5 1820 8 months and Kimbark, Lorena Morehouse, wife of George July 24, 1845 aged 31-2-14.
