G.M. Killgore/Kilgore was born about 1826 in Tennessee. In 1860 he was living in Homer, Claiborne Parish, LA working as an attorney. He married Sarah Miller (daughter of Sarah Wilson and John Miller). Daughter Mae was living with grandmother Sarah Miller in 1870. G. M. served CSA as captain in 17th Infantry, Co. H. Paroled at Vicksburg 1863. Is he part of the Kilgore family from Lisbon? Any guidance appreciated.
