This book was researched for six years as part of an effort to update and re-publish Descendants of Joseph Kilgore 1690(1701)-1764 of Scotland. Both are available. "Origins" is available free to any interested Kilgore descendant as long as the supply lasts. Currently there are 65. "Descendants" is limited to Joseph Killgore's descendants and there are only 22 copies currently available. If you do not know whether you descend from Joseph Killgore, here is a quick test. If you have any Kilgore ancestors in Maine the probability is almost 100 percent. If you connect to New England the liklihood is about 80 percent before 1850 and diminishing from there. If you just don't know, send me your earliest names and I'll check my index, There are over 20,000 descendants, their spouses, and their spouses parents now included in our family genealogy. Migrants are known to have found in the 1800's frequently in Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Kansas primarily. Secondly, California, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Washington. Advise if interested. Roy E. Killgore
