I got the book today " History of Walker County Alabama" by John Martin Dombhart. First written in 1937 and reprinted in 1987. copy right Northern Alalbama Publishing Co, Jasper AL.
here is most of the information in the book on this family:

Olzie Kilgore came to Walker County AL. from GA., presumably about 1843 or earlier. He died about 1860. He was married to Nancy Larrimore. Children:
Mitchell, never married and was killed in the Civil War
Charles C. moved to Tuscaloosa
Thomas, married Matilda Busby, and lived in Jefferson County

John


James born in S.C He lived on a farm near Pleasantfield all his life. He married Mary Hutto. He was brought into the coounty while still quite young.

Children:
Isaac: 8/24/1844 on 1/4/1862 he inlisted at Tierce's Mill as a private in CO. K, 5th AL Infantry, under Captain Hutto, and served till the end of the war. He died 6/8/1920 and is buried at Liberty Hill.
Wiley, was killed in the Civil War
Martha married Tobby Minor
John married Rodie Smith
Nancy married William Odom

Isaac:born on Wolf Creek 8/18/44 died 6/8/1920 and is burried at Liberty Hill. he married Adeline Wade
