I need help with my line of Kilgore's. Samuel Kilgore was born in 1823 in Ohio. He married Cynthia ?, who was born about 1830 in VA. Samuel was listed in the 1850 census of Wayne Co VA as a 27 year old farmer. His children were: James H,George B. William H., Eli T.(my grandfather), and Martha A. Eli married Sarah F. Newman and they were the parents of my father,John W. Kilgore. I am at a roadblock when it comes to finding who Samuel's father was.
