MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Robert E. 'Bobo' Kilburn, 24, Muscatine, died Monday, Aug. 22, 2005, from a drowning accident.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services, 2907 Mulberry Ave. The Rev. Richard White will officiate the services. Casket bearers are Juan Solis, Andy Wilkins, Jason Kilburn, Jacob Kilburn, Jim Kilburn and Jeff Kilburn. Honorary casket bearers are Mark Ball and April Ball. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Kilburn was born April 8, 1981, in Muscatine. He is the son of Darrel Ball and Scott and Cynthia Bierman.

He was previously employed at DJ's Tree Service and Riverbend Construction. He enjoyed fishing, making people laugh and spending time with his friends.

Survivors include his parents, Darrel Ball of Nichols and Scott and Cynthia Bierman of New Boston, Ill.; a brother, Mark Ball of Nichols; a sister, April Ball of New Boston; two step-brothers, Zach Bierman of Muscatine and Ben Bierman of New Boston; a stepsister, Elizabeth Bierman of Nichols; maternal grandparents, Robert Wayne and Barbara Kilburn of Muscatine; paternal grandmother, Donna Ball of Nichols; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Nelson Ball.
