Ann Kilbane Wing led the Federated Democratic Women of Ohio and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Parma, Ohio.

Related to several local Judge Kilbanes, she was raised in Cleveland, Ohio and spent her final 62 years in Parma Heights. She was the Democrats' city leader, a state central committeewoman and a Cuyahoga County executive committeewoman. But she worked closely with a Republican, Mayor Paul Cassidy, promoting tax issues, advising him on personnel and more.
"She spoke out on almost every vital thing going on," Cassidy said Friday. "She was just a peach to work with."
The widow's survivors include a son, a granddaughter and four great-grandchildren.
Ripepi Funeral Home will arrange a Mass at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church.
