Hello! just responding to the lady from England looking for other Kiffs abroad. I live in Ontario, Canada and know little about my name. My Grandmother is Mary Kiff and my Father was Warren Kiff. We are all from Montreal, Quebec

Sorry, June I forgot to add a few things. I believe my My family came from England before WWII, I remember my Grandma telling me we have family there. I could be mistaken but Thomas Kiff sounds sort of familiar. Does he have a son who died when he was in his thirties of an anyerism? I am unsure of the ages of most of the people I speak about because I am 22 so these folks would be much older than me. any info you might have would be greatly appreciated.

My maiden name is Kiffe. My grandfather's name is Lodriques Kiff. His father's name was Gerris Kiff. My father's name is Edwin Antoine Kiffe. I was told by family members that the change of our surname took place in the Catholic Church. When someone was babtized the priest would often change the spellng according to the pronounciation. Would love to hear from you and compare notes on the Kiff/Kiffe name.

Sincerely,
B.K.Theriot

Hello June, I just read your post and realised that my grandmother has mentioned a Dorothy Kiff and June Kiff in our family and wonder if we are related. Do the names Desmond & Betty Kiff, Brynley and Hilda Kiff mean anything to you? I do hope we have a connection. Sharon Kiff
