I am related to Kiff family. However, I have not been able to ascertain if they are of English, German or Scottish decent. Kiff comes from England, Kief from Germany (which could be a name change as so often happens during migration), and O'Keefe is another possibility of a name change from Scotland.

I married into the Kiff family in the Attleboro/North Attleboro area in southeastern Massachusetts. My husband's line goes back to St. George, Maine. The family, after immigrating to the Attleboro area (The Jewelry Capital of the World, at the time) were involved in the manufacture or the production of jewelry and related items.
Best of luck with your searches, Douglas.
If any of your ancestors turn up to have lived in this area, feel free to contact me.
