I have a small book full of descendents of my ancester Andrew Kiff, who served at age 14 in the Revolutionary army under General George Washington. Andrew married Mary Mabie, who was born Marie Junteau in Acadia, Nova Scotia. Her parents were deported by the English in 1755. Marie was lost and never reunited with them, but adopted by the Mabie family. This couple were married in New Bedford, NY, and later lived in Bloomville and Kortwright. My book has 9 generations of their descendents; I want to find their ancesters. Please help if you can, or share information on either the Kiff or Mabie line (or the Junteau line).

Dear Trcia Knudsen:
I am a descendant of Andrew Kiff on my maternal grandmother's side of the family (Lyman Wilkins daughter). I would LOVE to know what information you have. I (and my cousin) are stuck at George, Andrew's father. There is not much of any information about him. We are going to visit Andrew's gravesite Labor Day week to take pictures. We would love to share!
You can email me at the above address.
Thank you for any enlightenment!

Well, folks. Try as I might (with the basic knowledge I have) I cannot transfer the scan of Andrew's will to a readable file for Outlook. Either cuts the bottom of the page (8x14) or scans into this huge file that only a few lines can be read. I've been working on it for a half hour now! I will make copies at Kinkos to mail to each one. Email me at pbugonian@stny.rr.com with your address and I'll send it out!
