I would like to submit the following information concerning Hezekiah Kifer:
In the 1850 Census for Warrick County, there is no Hezekiah listed with Archibald Kifer, although I Do find one listed with a William Kifer:

And although there is a Hezekiah listed with the Archibald Kifer family in the 1860 Federal Census, I do not believe he was a son (maybe a nephew).
There is printed in the book "Warrick County, Indiana Cemeteries Vol. 1, Greer & Campbell Townships"(by J. Oscar & Opal B. Phillips / published in cooperation with Capt. Jacob Warrick Chapter, NSDAR, Boonville, Indiana by Cook - McDowell Publications, Inc. 719 E. 6th St. Owensboro, Kentucky 42301)on Page 28A an obituary for Hezekiah Kifer. it reads as follow:
Boonville Standard, November 3, 1922
Hezekiah Kifer, born May 1844, died October 27, at the age of 78, from a tree limb falling on his head. He married Katheryn Miller, December 1861. They had 8 children, all living and the aged wife. They are Mrs. Emily Ricketts, Mrs. Mary Ketcham, Mrs. Lenore Hedges, Mrs. Lucy Ricketts, Mrs. Lizzie Meadows, Henry, Allen & Phillip Kifer; three brothers, Ira, Jack, & Frank Kifer; 21 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. Six grandsons were pallbearers; Wilmer & Walter Hedges, Lindley & Glenn Ricketts, Eugene Kifer & Oren Ketcham.
