I am interested in contactacting anyone who has knowledge of a Kiedrowski family found around Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania in the 1890's.
The name of the head of the family would have been Mateusz Kiedrowski and his wife Catherine. Child was Frank who served as a constable for the Pittsburgh area. Possibly another child named Thomas. Mateusz- Matthew died sometime before 1906.
In 1918 Frank and a son,Frank, are still listed in the Pittsburgh area.

Surnames: pollom/von kiedrowski
I have been researching any connection between your Kiedrowskis and Anna Pollom (von Kiedrowski)my great grandmother. Your Kiedrowski's lived on the southside of Pittsburgh on Magdelena St, I believe. Mine lived in Lawrenceville. Go to the historic Pittsburgh website and old maps and city directories will guide you to them. I can't find a connection between them and Anna. all I know about Anna von Kiedrowski- Mar. 27 1868 was allegedly from Posen area, came to U.S. in 1890 with husband Paul who is from Wda, a little village south of Starogard Gdansk. Good luck. There is a baltimore passenger list of a Franz von Kiedrowski (with a last known residence of Koln) bound for Pittsburgh being picked up by Paul Pollom in 1906-but I can't link him to anyone either.

Also, I went to the Alleghany county property appraiser's website-and the house that they lived in is still there.(many of pittsburgh's houses were built 1890-1900's.

John,

There may be a possibility that our Kiedrowskis are related n some fashion, as most Kiedrowskis seemed to have immigrated to either Wisconsin, Michigan or Minnesota.
