Looking for information on a Winthrop Kie.
My grandmother, Cecilia (Dwan) (MacDonald)
married him c1980 (?). She died in
Tarzana (?) CA c1990. Thanks.

Carolyn: My grandmother, born Agnes Cecilia
Dwan, left my grandfather, Raymond MacDonald,
about 1930. She left MA, and apparently
was in in CA 1950+ per a photo album we
received after her death. We have a copy of
a Marriage certificate for "Agnes" and
Winthrop Franklin Kie, married at St. Paul's
United Methodist Church, Tarzana, CA,
November 10, 1976.

Witnesses were from Encino, CA. My e-mail

I came across your message and wondered if there was any connect with my husband's family.They were originally from Albany,NY my husband's grandfather,Charles Kie was the son of William Henry Kie of the Nassua,NY area.His father was John Frank Kie from Germany,who was married to Sophia(Soadman)Kie.They came to this country about 1860 and settled

first in Albany then in Nassua.many are still in NY.Charles,my husbands grandfather went to Springfield,MA.Married Selina Benson.George Albert Kie was my husband's father's name.There were other children also...Charles,Annie There is a Winthrop Franklyn Kie son of Frank Kie and Marrgaret Davis born Dec 09,1910 in Pittsfield in our family tree. Let me know if you think we are talking about the same person.

i'm not sure if this is the w. kie your looking for but my husbands grandfather was winthrop kie and he lived in ca in 1980, if you have any other info it would really help, then i might be able to give you the information i have and we might have a match.
