Hello, I am seeking information on my family history and any information would me much appreciated as very little is known.
All that is known about Samuel is that he was a Pub landlord in the city of London and had one son as far as I am aware although there could be more
that I am unaware of. His sons name was Henry who left London to marry in Scotland, any information you could send me would be most
appreciated.

The branch of the Kiddle family that l come from, who were blacksmiths in a village called Middleton, outside Kings Lynn, Norfolk in the late eighteenth-century mainly used the names of Robert for the elder son, and also Samuel. There is (or was) a Kiddle family archive in Lincoln Cathedral. There were also Kiddles in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, but l think that that was a little later. Not sure about James Kiddle though - although it seems likely that it is the same family group.
