Re: Washington Kichinko's to East US.
Do you know where your Kichinko's came from? I too am researching Kisinko, Kichinko, Kicsinko. My Grandmother was Barbara Kichinko b 1882 d 1934. She had a brother Andrew and sisters, Mary and Anna. Their parents were George and Mary (Kushnevik). My grandmother came to the US 1907 from Trebisov, Czechoslovakia (Slovakia). This is probably no help, but you just don't ever know. Good luck.

Don't know if this helps, but my grandfather was George Kichinko, and he had some relatives with the last name Kisinko. From Chzechoslovakia, I believe. Lived in Charleroi, PA. If I can help, let me know!

Re: Washington Kichinko's to East US.
I am late getting around to posting a reply to this query, I know. I am so sorry it has taken me so long to run down what was a missprint on the part of the reporter and Newspaper Editor. A story appeared in the Tacoma News Tribune, Tacoma, Washington, on the 26 day of December, about the death of my grandmother. Paul Kuchinko (I know now Kichinko, as the i and u are next to each other on the key board of a typewriter or keyboard). I always wanted to thank mister Kichinko for his valiant attempt at saving my grandmother. I do not believe anyone ever thanked him and they should have. He sustained second and third degree burns on his arms, hands and face trying to save her. I pray his family if he has any survivors see and read this and know that I appreciated his efforts. May God watch over him. My grandmother was Joy, Mary Ellen, she was actually 68 in 1956. Again, thank you.

Re: Washington Kichinko's to East US.
My Great Grandmother was Mary Kichinko, she had a brother Paul that in 1938 was stated as living in Chicago and a brother George who in 1938 was listed as living in Alaska. Her parents were John Kichinko and the mother was Maria Kachurak. There was also another brother Joe who I believe in 1938 would have lived in Pennsylvania.
