Any information regarding the origin of the Kibblewhite surname would be greatly appreciated! I have heard that the Kibbles were born and raised along the White river in England?
Thanks
Sue

Dear Sue,
I understand from my father that the Kibblewhites are descended from the Kibbles of Whiteford.
The unfortunate story as I understood it, was that the illegitimate offspring of Lord Kibble of Whiteford became Kibblewhites.
If you write to my father:
Alan Kibblewhite
"Greenleas"
Altwood Close
Maidenhead
Berkshire SL6 4PP
U.K.

I am sure he can give you a lot more information.
If you visit the Online Family Tree, I have just put a few details up about the little I know of the family tree if you are interested.
B.R.
Ian

Thanks Ian Kibblewhite

My branch of the family are in Wiltshire, UK, in particular around Swindon. When on a trip to the UK a few years ago I discovered a Kibblewhite grave dating back to 1840 in a small chhurch graveyard outside of oxford. I reside in Melbourne, Australia, and there are 6 families scattered around Australia with our surname but not as fasr as I can tell related.
If anyone turns up items of interest I would appreciate hearing from them.
