Re: Horace Kiah and Sarah Kiah
i may not have a connection with you but i am interested in knowing where did the name kiah come from? my great-grandmother's maiden name was kiah and that is not exactly a everyday name that you hear nor are there many kiahs still around. i was just wondering what info do you have reguarding the kiahs as to where they are from, ethnicity, migration, and whatever else you want to share. thanks

Re: Horace Kiah and Sarah Kiah
I am a descendant of Horace Kiah from the Tardiff side of the family in Brewer, Maine. I am searching for the relationship between Thibodeau and Kiah family names without much luck. Would you have any information that you would be willing to share?
Thanks, Patrice

Re: Horace Kiah and Sarah Kiah
I married a Kiah (pronounced Ky-yah) from Balitmore, MD. There are lots of Kiahs is MD who are African American. Actually on the campus of the University of Maryland Easter Shore there is a building named Kiah Hall after the Kiah family.
