David,

I'm related to the Kevill clan from County Sligo. All but one member of the family came to the U.S. between 1857 and 1864. The majority settled in either Sioux City, Iowa or Jefferson, Dakota Territory which was 10 miles northwest of Sioux City. Several are buried in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Jefferson, South Dakota. Tom Kevill, born about 1842 was married and lived most of the time in Sioux City. He was a Civil War veteran and was with the 7th Iowa Cavalry. If you need any information, please feel free to contact me.

Got cut off with the messages on here.

Patt Keville is head of the family, (in age order for his children) Molly Keville, Delia Keville, Michael Keville, Norah Keville (who is my great grandmother), Annie Keville, Maggie Keville, and last- Katie Keville.

They lived at 16 Ballinlough (Kilcolman, Mayo). This is the 1901 Census, but 1911 Pat Keville- the father is gone and Patrick Keville who is 20+ years older than he should be is head of the family, I'm thinking Patrick keville in 1911 census (who says he was born in 1839, not 1856 like Patt Keville) was a grand father who came to live with family for some reason.

If you have any info confirming this is the same family as yours please contact me on e-mail, I'm not paying for ancestry so I don't think the messages work properly. My e-mail is bridgetmccormack@rocketmail.com.
