Frank Kever like my mother said is her great grand father. He was not born in Ga but in France. We will be continueing to look for him in France. Did my mother ever tell you the story why he left France? My my studies of French his surname could have also been Keiffer. It is what my French teacher told me the name was translated from. In France his first name was Franc not Frank. I had found something a long time ago and know I can not find the info again. I found a Franc but at the time I did not know his birthdate to verify. Which I find to be Jun 06, 1855. from records from Florida

No my mother is Polly Ann Munnerley "Kever". I took My mothers maiden name. My grand-mother Lyra also known as "Era Kever" Told Me about my Great great grandfather when I was really young. I think it goes like this Me, Polly, Lyra, Johnny, Bengamin, Frank. I did a little more research on his birthdate stated at the Jan 16, 1855.In FLorida. I still can not find anything in France but I did find a Frank Keever in Essex England Near OP birthdate. Notice interest of a Frank R. Kever born in 1879 also in England but was also in France. Read the Math on a male having a kid. I did not find any other older male that could have had Frank R. Kever.
Someone else has Frank born in 1846 and dieing in Florida. Did not find a birth in that Date Either but the One I found was 1848. I saw a lot of the same names that gggrandfather gave all his children in both England and Florida. My grandmother told me the histroy he really was a ladies man. Frank Keever is also in this registar stated from census taken. Frank R. Kever was in Census in Both France and England. Only thing that drawed me to england and have doudts on orginality of birth Places. My Mom would be best to answer more deeper around our straight line. I also did not find Frank in France even with translated last name of all varieties in France match even close to his birth Date from FL Statement.

Have you ever visited his grave? He's buried in Bristol Cemetery next to his wife Mary Brown Kever.

I don't think people could possibly know how bad of a situation this can be until it happens to them. Bombarded with emails, instant messages, blank emails, the list goes on and on. Having to change your identity because they follow you from website to website. It gets worst!!

A bit of advice, for all of those people that wants to share who they are for genealogy purposes, you might want to take some percautions. I changed my phone number, I no longer confide personal information, I don't say who my parents are or where I live. I don't mention friends because this person would actually contact my friends.

It can start out so simple and turn into a nightmare.

id like to throw in that my grandpa ray kever took me to his granny mary brown kevers grave and pointed out that at the time she was buried it was OUTSIDE the fence of the cemetary, along with several other mix race people and some retarded folks that were buried there. frank had another wife and some kids too as well of some type he said. frank was a good friend of john oxendine and robert jacobs family as well as the hill family, and they all lioved near each other for several generations and so e intermarried like the kevers and jacobs (lumbee tribal members, not catawba)and according to family history had known each other in NC before coming to florida, frank had murdered a man in a drunk fight as well hed said. franks son billy was an alcoholic alot of his life he said too.
