FYI,
Harriet Ketchum graduated from Old Town High School in 1927. It is believed that she may be the first Penobscot to graduate from OTHS. She also attended and graduated from UMO in Orono, also might be the first. We have the yearbook for 1927 and can scan her picture and sent it to you. We also know a few of her decendants and can put you in touch with them. Just let us know.

My name is Robin Scribner trying to find if Rose Mason Scribner or Norwich, CT is in my lineage since Scribner Cousins also living in Connecticut. I found an article on her and the Louis Ketchum link she died in the early 1970's . My lineage goes to Waterville, Maine, Old Town and Brooks, Maine (Reynolds, Bertrand, Cote, Lizotte and Quebec).

Hi, Interesting, are you responding to the letter I just wrote to your mother, Rose Mason Scribner inquiring to see if we are related since some of my family history indicates we might be, but not through Henry Scribner, but through my great grandmother, Rosetta Trundy Reynolds (1843 − 1926), Brooks, Waldo, Maine? Several 2nd cousins/Scribner side, who just met for the first time recently at a reunion, had similiar stories about a connection to Rose Mason Scribner, but we are not able to find the link. I read a lot of info on Louis Ketchum and his lineage. It's a mystery to us as to why the ancestors would indicate the connection, but there is no documentation. Would like to hear more if you have the information.

Unless my mother has information on the names, I am wondering what their stories were and other names that were mention in your conversations with them.
