Hi, Kathleen. John Kerwin farmed in the Plato/Burington area (Kane Co) ca 1870. John married Bridget O'Rourke.
I think John may have been from Kilkenny, Ire.
My G-Grandfather was Daniel O'Rourke (b. ca 1833 in Ire.).
Daniel and Bridget were brother/sister. They immigrated in 1860.
Bridget married John Kerwin in Brooklyn ca. 1870. They
moved/dairy farmed in Burlington/Hampshire area. Their
children were Joseph, James, Julia, Margaret, Mary and Anna. Let me know if you think John and Maurice may be
