Classification: Query
Surnames: Keerevan, Keerivan, Kerevan, Kerivan, Kervin, Kirwan, Keirven
Hi, I have a series a number of generations of KEIRVEN's in and around Newcastle & Tynemouth in the UK, from my grandmother (Elizabeth b. 1907), through to her grandparents (Patrick b. ~1836 and Margaret b. ~1846). I can see emigrated KEIRVEN's in Australia and the US in the 20th century. But I can't seem to find records of any Keirven in Ireland, let alone my gggrandparents.

I've seen some sites talk about different spellings such as Keerevan, Keerivan, Kerevan, Kerivan, Kervin, Kirwan.

Can anyone help point me to families in Ireland in the mid 19th century that may have matched Patrick and Margaret, who would have been married in Ireland (I can't find a marriage record in the UK indexes) and then moved to Northumberland. Even guidance on the most likely spelling would help.
