I'm following up your 2005 email hoping you're still researching the Ogden/Hogden family.

My daughter-in-law is descended from Thomas Ogden's brother. Lincholn County Convict Archives show Thomas came from Claypole so this is how I have linked all the threads together. Many of Thomas's records are now on Ancestry.com.au and they show that by the time he arrived in NSW on the John Barry in 1836 he's being named as Hogden.

If you look on familysearch.org for Thomas son of James Ogden and Susanna Webster, you'll get some more information - perhaps you already have as 2005 was a few years ago.

I'm looking forward to exchanging information with NSW relatives.
