I am researching the Kerr surname. My Kerr tree starts with Beatrice Kerr, dau of Jesse Kerr and Eva Bowman. Info we have states that Jesse was the son of James Kerr & Mary Harrison. He had a sister named Gertrude. We have been told that Jesse was the youngest son of a family of 9 siblings. We have been unable to find any trace of him and have hit a roadblock. We do know that he married Eva Bowman and once he died she married his cousin, Orville Kerr. She had 4 children that we can prove via census records in Indiana but it's as if Jesse dropped from the sky. Is anyone else searching this line???
