Thank you for your response. Yes. I did find this census record but that is the only thing I have found on Jesse Kerr. It's as though he fell from the sky. I came across an old note that indicates that his parents were supposed to have been James Kerr & Mary Harrison and that he had a sister named either Lisa Gertrude or just Gertrude who married a Thomas Holt and that in the 1920s they lived in the Indiana area. Beatrice listed on the census was my aunt. I remember her brother Jim. I also found an old note that indicates that after Jesse Kerr died, Eva Bowman Kerr married his cousin, Orville Kerr. Again, no records of this marriage either. I would certainly appreciate any and all help I can get from anyone out there. I do know that my Aunt Beatrice was dropped off at the Muscatatuck State School in Butlerville, Jennings County, Indiana, when she was small and her mother no longer wanted to raise her after she got remarried. Notes indicte that Jim was also dropped off there. The child Ernest Harold joined the military and I am trying to find his military records. The 4th child died young we were told. Thank you so much! Gina
