Mike, I know this is an old post but I wanted to respond anyway. My grandfather was a George Newell Kerr married to Willa (Dodds ?), my brother is a Louis Graham Kerr. Seems like we are looking at the same family. I have more info somewhere...my dad has done a little research and has connected us to Jesse Merchant and Matthew Kerr.
